Through reappropriation, this short film subverts the love story in <\/span>Two Monks<\/span><\/i>. The constant male aggression and the courageous self-defense of the main character build up an echo on violence and the femicides that happen in Mexico and Latin America. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Annalisa D. Quagliata<\/b> is an alumnus of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she studied a double major in Film\/Video and Studio for Interrelated Media. <\/span><\/p>\n Her work has been exhibited internationally. Her project <\/span>imago <\/span><\/i>received a scholarship from the Princess Grace Foundation-USA.
