BIOGRAPHY<\/h3>\n

Aliona van der Horst<\/strong> is a director of Russian and Dutch origins. She studied Russian Literature at the Amsterdam University and Film and the Dutch Film Academy. She started her film career in 1997 with the acclaimed The Lady With the White Hat<\/em>, and has since then received multiple awards for her films.<\/p>\n
