Naci\u00f3 en Nueva Delhi pero vivi\u00f3 su infancia en una regi\u00f3n cerca del Himalaya. Se gradu\u00f3 de la Licenciatura en Artes Pl\u00e1sticas, Cine y V\u00eddeo del Instituto de Artes de California.
