Su trabajo ha sido nominado a los Emmy, y su labor social es reconocida desde diversas organizaciones y grupos minoritarios. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Daresha Kyi<\/strong> (Estados Unidos 1962) es una guionista, directora y productora de cine documental y programas para televisi\u00f3n. Su cortometraje <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Land Where My Fathers Died, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">realizado en su totalidad junto a Isaiah Washington<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fue patrocinado por el Programa de Directores del Instituto Americano de Cine. Colabor\u00f3 como codirectora y coproductora en la filmaci\u00f3n del documental <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chavela<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
