SYNOPSIS

Takeda speaks of the universality of human beings through the eyes of Shinzaburo Takeda, a Japanese painter who has adopted the culture of Oaxaca.

BIOGRAPHY

Ya’asib Vázquez was born in Oaxaca in 1984. He studied at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica and received an honorary mention for his film photography. His work has been selected in festivals such as IDFA. Takeda is his first documentary, which he directed and photographed.
