Talal Derki returns to his homeland to share the daily lives of a radical Islamic family. His camera focuses on Osama and his younger brother Ayman, giving a unique perspective of what it means to grow up in an Islamic state.
Talal Derki studied Film Direction in Athens. His work has been awarded in many festivals. His documentary Return to Homs received the Jury Award for World Cinema Documentary at Sundance.
