A portrait of one of Latin America’s most famous singers and songwriters: Rubén Blades. The documentary explores his career, his legacy and the complexities implied in keeping his fame.

BIOGRAPHY

Abner Benaim is a director, producer, writer and artist. He studied International Relations at the University of Pennsylvania and Film at Camera Obscura in Tel Aviv. He produced and directed several TV series as well as documentaries that received multiple international awards. His production company, Apertura Films, is dedicated to independent projects.
