SYNOPSIS

With over 100 hours of previously unreleased material, the film portrays Jane Goodall, a scientist whose research on chimpanzees shook the contemporary -male dominated- consensus on the natural world.

BIOGRAPHY

Brett Morgen has directed, over the past fifteen years, written and produced acclaimed documentaries. He has a Masters in Film from the New York University. His thesis, On The Ropes, premiered at Sundance and obtained an Oscar nomination for Best Feature-length Documentary. Morgen is also a prolific director of commercials.
