Through reappropriation, this short film subverts the love story in Two Monks. The constant male aggression and the courageous self-defense of the main character build up an echo on violence and the femicides that happen in Mexico and Latin America.
Annalisa D. Quagliata is an alumnus of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she studied a double major in Film/Video and Studio for Interrelated Media.
Her work has been exhibited internationally. Her project imago received a scholarship from the Princess Grace Foundation-USA. She is a grantee of the FONCA Young Creators Program.
