SYNOPSIS

Filmed after discovering amateur footage filmed in China in 1966, during the most radical period of the Cultural Revolution, the documentary explores the fleeting nature of intense moments in history.

BIOGRAPHY

João Moreira Salles is a Brazilian documentary filmmaker, president of the Moreira Salles Institute, charged with promoting the development of Brazilian cultural projects. His film career began in 1985 with the creation of VideoFilmes, a documentary production company that has received over 300 international awards.
