Marisela Escobedo struggles to put Sergio Barraza, her daughter Ruby’s murderer, behind bars. Despite navigating the deficiencies of the recently established Penal Justice System, the culprit goes free due to the incompetence of the authorities, who are unable to present a case.
Jorge Carreón studied Communication at the Tec de Monterrey, and specialized in Production and Direction. He pursued further studies at the University of Texas in El Paso and at the American Film Institute. He has worked for companies such as Más Música, the Public Radio Service and Oxygen.
