SYNOPSIS

A look at the everyday life of four transgender people living on the outskirts of Sao Paolo. Mixing the characters’ intimacy and their social context, the film questions the political struggle of Brazil’s transgender community.

BIOGRAPHY

Alice Riff is the director and producer of Studio Riff. She studied Film and Social Sciences at the Fundación Armando Alvares Penteado. My Body is Political is her first feature-length documentary. She also directed the shorts Let’s Dance Invisible Orchestra, 100% Bolivian, Bro and Freestyle City, that obtained several awards.
