SYNOPSIS

Julia “Julita” Salmerón is an 81 year-old matriarch whose childhood dreams have come true: she has many children, a monkey and a castle. But the Spanish crisis changes the course of her life and that of her eccentric family.

BIOGRAPHY

Gustavo Salmerón is an actor and a director. As an actor, he has participated in nearly thirty films by renowned directors. He directed the short film Desaliñada that won Best Short at the Goya Awards and other international prizes. Lots of Kids, a Monkey and a Castle was fourteen years in the making.
