Musas is an intimate approach to the encounter between Natalia Lafourcade and Los Macorinos – guitar players for Chavela Vargas – in the creation of a musical project called Musas, a tribute to Latin American folklore by Los Macorinos. An exploration of Natalia’s desire to thank and pay tribute to the artists that inspire her -by singing and composing for them- as they aim to rescue a culture’s memory and traditions through music.
Bruno Bancalari is a video and filmmaker who graduated from the New York Film School and from CENTRO. He is a co-founder of the ELEFANTE project, a platform for documentary contents focused on artistic development and promotion.
