Mexico City, March 13th, 2020– Ambulante Film Festival 2020, that was to take place from March 19 to May 28, postpones its program and activities until further notice; to limit the spread and impact of the COVID-19 virus in Mexico. Given the geographical reach of the festival in over 130 venues across eight states, and with several programmed public open-air screenings, we deem prudent to suspend all of our activities in order not to expose our audience, volunteers, staff, and national and international guests. Ambulante stands in solidarity with all the people that have been affected by the pandemic of the COVID-19 virus.
We regret having to postpone the celebration of our fifteenth edition, and thank you for your patience and support. We hope to be able to share news about the festival shortly.
